Mr. Attaf received by the Tunisian President Mr. Kaïs Saïed

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr Ahmed Attaf, was received on Monday in Tunis by the President of the brotherly Republic of Tunisia, Kaïs Saïed, as part of his official visit to Tunisia to take part in the ministerial meeting of the Tripartite Neighbouring Countries Mechanism on Libya.

During the meeting, Mr Attaf conveyed to the Tunisian President the greetings of his brother, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and expressed his desire to continue their cooperation in order to further strengthen Algerian-Tunisian relations, in line with the integrated vision they share for the present and future of the partnership between the two brotherly countries.

the meeting provided an opportunity to review the various aspects of bilateral cooperation in light of the significant and qualitative outcomes of the 23rd session of the Algerian-Tunisian Joint High Commission, while emphasizing the need to turn these results into concrete projects and tangible achievements that will further strengthen relations between the two countries.

Regarding the situation in the brotherly country of Libya, the importance of Tripartite Neighbouring Countries Mechanism was underscored, this mechanism is holding a new session in Tunisia to examine the most appropriate ways to provide support and assistance to the Libyan brothers, thereby enabling them to overcome the crisis, reunite, and preserve the sovereignty, unity, and independence of their country.
